Scientific Name: Labidochromis caeruleus (White morph)
Maximum Length: About 4–5 inches
Favorite Things: Rocky Malawi setups with caves, ledges, and strong hardscape. The White Lab is a peaceful Mbuna known for its clean, bright white coloration that stands out against dark rock. Large individuals show fuller bodies, stronger color, and carry presence in a display tank. Diet should be largely herbivorous—spirulina flakes, algae wafers, and veggie-based cichlid pellets.
Best Buddies: Excellent in mixed Malawi communities with labs, acei, rusties, and other mild-to-moderate Mbuna. Avoid extremely aggressive species.
