Altums have a distinctive high-backed profile and elegant swimming style that make them impressive centerpiece fish, especially when kept in a group. Large specimens develop an imposing fin span and are best displayed in tall aquariums.

Diet: Quality cichlid pellets, frozen bloodworms, mysis, brine shrimp, blackworms, and other meaty foods.
