Favorite Things: Soft sand substrate, dim lighting, leaf litter, and plenty of hiding spots such as caves, driftwood, and dense plants. Black Kuhlis are peaceful, nocturnal scavengers that love to wiggle through tight spaces. They thrive on sinking micro-pellets, frozen foods, and leftover bits they find while foraging at night.
Best Buddies: Excellent with peaceful community fish—rasboras, tetras, corydoras, otos, and shrimp. Best kept in groups of 6 or more, as they are highly social and confident when kept together.
