Bloody Mary Hillstream Loach

A rare and highly attractive Borneo hillstream loach prized for its contrasting dark body and vivid red coloration in the tail and dorsal fins. Bloody Mary Hillstreams spend much of their time attached to rocks, wood, and glass grazing on algae and biofilm. They do best in clean, highly oxygenated water with good flow and plenty of mature surfaces for grazing. They are social fish and are particularly impressive when kept as a small group.

Diet: Algae and biofilm, algae wafers, spirulina foods, and small frozen/live foods.
