This compact marine puffer is an excellent choice for appropriately stocked fish-only aquariums. Blue Spot Tobies frequently investigate their surroundings and quickly learn to recognize feeding time.

Care Requirements:

• Established marine aquarium with stable water parameters

• Live rock, caves, and hiding areas

• Peaceful to moderately assertive tankmates

• Strong biological filtration

• A varied diet of appropriate marine foods

Diet: Offer frozen shrimp, clam, mussel, mysis shrimp, and quality carnivore preparations. Include suitable hard-shelled foods to help maintain healthy tooth wear.

Compatibility: Blue Spot Tobies may nip the fins of other fish and prey on ornamental shrimp, snails, crabs, and other invertebrates. They are not recommended for typical reef aquariums.

Important: Never intentionally inflate a pufferfish. Avoid exposing the fish to air during transfer whenever possible.
