Maximum Length: Approx. up to 8 inches
Favorite Things: Spacious reef or FOWLR aquariums (75+ gallons) with a sand bed for sleeping and hiding. Active during the day, constantly foraging for small crustaceans and worms. Feeds on frozen mysis, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. Hardy and highly active — a great personality fish for large tanks.
Best Buddies: Semi-aggressive but generally peaceful toward larger reef fish (tangs, clowns, triggers, puffers). Avoid housing with small ornamental shrimp or snails. Reef-safe with caution — may eat tiny inverts.
