Salvini Cichlid 

• Appearance: Bright yellow belly, turquoise spots/fines, and black lateral stripes, with females generally more colorful and displaying a, larger, more defined dorsal blotch than males.
• Temperament: Extremely aggressive and territorial, especially during breeding.
• Diet: Omnivorous; they readily consume prepared pellets, frozen, and live foods.
• Care Level: Intermediate. They require strong filtration, frequent water changes, and hiding spots (caves/rocks).
• Water Conditions: Prefer temperatures of 72–81°F (22–27°C) and a pH of 6.5–8.0. 

• Compatibility: Suitable with similarly aggressive, large cichlids (e.g., Convicts, Firemouths) or catfish.
