Maximum Length: Up to 13 inches
Favorite Things: Spacious, mature marine systems with plenty of open swimming space and rockwork for exploring. Known for their dog-like personality, expressive eyes, and ability to recognize their keepers. Eats a varied diet of clams, shrimp, squid, krill, and hard-shelled foods to keep their beak worn down.
Best Buddies: Works well with peaceful to moderately aggressive tankmates such as tangs, angels, and triggers. Not reef-safe — will nip inverts and sample corals. Should be housed singly due to size and personality.
