Favorite Things: Densely planted nano tanks with gentle flow and plenty of hiding spaces. Loves live or frozen meaty foods such as bloodworms, daphnia, and baby brine shrimp. Requires a steady food supply of small snails to help keep their beak trimmed.
Best Buddies: Best in species-only aquariums. Can nip fins of slower fish; not recommended with shrimp or long-finned species. In larger, well-decorated tanks, small groups can coexist peacefully.
