Favorite Things: Clean, well-oxygenated aquariums with smooth stones, moderate flow, and plenty of algae to graze. Males display brilliant electric blues and greens across the body and fins—especially under bright LED lighting. They thrive on biofilm, algae, and supplemental foods like spirulina wafers, nano pellets, and frozen daphnia.
Best Buddies: Perfect for peaceful community tanks with rasboras, small tetras, shrimp, and other nano fish. Avoid aggressive or large tankmates that may outcompete them for food. They do best in groups or pairs but can also be kept singly.
