The German Gold Ram is a stunning color morph of the popular Ram Cichlid, prized for its bright golden-yellow body and vibrant red eyes. Selectively bred from German strains of ram cichlids, these fish are known for their stronger genetics and vivid coloration compared to many standard varieties.

German Gold Rams are peaceful dwarf cichlids that do well in planted community aquariums with other calm fish such as tetras, rasboras, and small catfish. They thrive in warm, stable water and appreciate aquariums with plants, driftwood, and gentle filtration.

These fish are very interactive and often establish small territories or pair off when mature. A varied diet of high-quality micro pellets, frozen foods, and occasional live foods helps maintain their health and brilliant coloration.
