Scientific Name:Misgurnus anguillicaudatus (Gold Morph) Maximum Length: 8–10 inches Favorite Things: Cool-water aquariums (68–75°F), soft sand or smooth gravel to burrow in, and plenty of cover. Gold Dojo Loaches are extremely hardy, personable, and active—often swimming up to greet keepers and becoming more lively before weather changes (earning the nickname “Weather Loach”). Eats sinking pellets, bloodworms, algae wafers, and leftover food. Best Buddies: Excellent with goldfish, danios, white clouds, and peaceful community fish that enjoy cooler temperatures. Avoid aggressive cichlids or large predatory species.
