Favorite Things: Fine sand beds, peaceful tankmates, and plenty of open space to sift. The Sleeper Golden Head Goby is famous for its bright yellow head and constant sand-sifting behavior that naturally keeps the substrate clean and aerated. They thrive in established tanks with microfauna and will also accept frozen foods such as mysis, enriched brine, and small meaty blends once settled.
Best Buddies: Peaceful reef fish including clowns, tangs, wrasses, anthias, and other gobies. Completely reef-safe. Avoid aggressive tankmates and ensure the tank has a tight lid—they are known jumpers when startled.
