Harlequin Tuskfish

The Harlequin Tuskfish is one of the most striking and personality-filled fish available in the marine aquarium hobby. Known for its bold orange and white vertical striping and brilliant blue “tusk” teeth, this fish quickly becomes a centerpiece in larger saltwater aquariums.

Native to reefs of the Indo-Pacific and Australia, the Harlequin Tuskfish is a hardy and active predator that thrives in aquariums with plenty of rockwork and swimming space. As it matures, it develops vibrant coloration and a confident personality that makes it a favorite among marine hobbyists.

Harlequin Tusks are best suited for fish-only or predator-style reef systems, as they may consume crustaceans such as shrimp, crabs, and small snails. They coexist well with larger community fish including tangs, angelfish, and triggers when housed in appropriately sized aquariums.
