Italian Val is a classic, easy-growing tall background plant with long, ribbon-like leaves that sway beautifully in the current. Submerged-grown pots transition extremely well to home aquariums and send runners quickly once established.
Best Buddies: Perfect for community tanks, livebearer tanks, rainbowfish, angelfish, gouramis, and shrimp. Not ideal with plant-eating cichlids or goldfish, which may damage the leaves.
