Name: Molly Miller Blenny
Scientific Name: Scartella cristata
Maximum Length: About 4 inches
Favorite Things: Plenty of rockwork, cracks, and crevices to perch on. The Molly Miller Blenny is a hardy, active nano–to–medium reef fish known for its curious personality and constant grazing. They pick at film algae, detritus, leftover food, and—most importantly—they are one of the few fish known to eat nuisance Aiptasia anemones in many setups.
They readily accept pellets, flakes, and frozen foods once established.
Best Buddies: Excellent for peaceful reef tanks with clowns, gobies, wrasses, cardinals, and other community fish. Reef-safe and coral-safe. Avoid housing with large aggressive fish that may bully smaller blennies.
