Ropefish
(Erpetoichthys calabaricus)
Long eel-like oddball fish with primitive bichir-like appearance and smooth serpentine swimming motion. Peaceful but predatory species that spends much of its time exploring the bottom and surface of the aquarium; highly escape-prone and requires a secure lid.
Diet:
Bloodworms, shrimp, frozen foods, sinking carnivore pellets
