The Thick Lip Gourami is a striking and peaceful labyrinth fish named for its distinctively full lips. Males display rich orange and teal banding across the body with flowing ventral fins, while females are more subdued in coloration. A calm and undemanding species, it makes an excellent centerpiece fish for planted community tanks and adapts well to a range of water conditions.
